# Tips for capturing multiple athletes back-to-back

> Learn how to seamlessly run multiple athletes through assessments in one session

There may be situations where you need to assess multiple athletes on the samae day, or one right after another. Examples include:

* Running camps or multi-athlete events
* Tryouts or mid-season evaluations for an entire team
* Combines, showcases, or scouting events

Here are some tips for making this as seamless as possible.

# Pre-populate your athlete profiles

While you can create athlete profiles on-the-fly in the mobile app, it's way easier to [create them all in the web app ahead of your event](../platform-configuration/creating-and-managing-athletes-in-the-web.md). That way, when switching athletes.

# Batch by handedness

When capturing hitting, pitching, or other movements where the camera setup depends on the handedness of the athlete, **batching my handedness - assessing all righties, then all lefties, for example** - means you only have to move the camera setup once.

# Use the "keep current setup" option

When your camera setup remains stationary across assessments, you can check the "keep current setup" option to skip setup between athletes. Together with batching by handedness, this significantly reduces time required between athletes.

# Use a remote control device

By connecting a [remote control device](using-a-remote-control-device-to-run-your-assessment.md), you can end one assessment, select the next athlete, and start their assessment, all from the device in your hand without needing to touch the cameras.

# Use auto-capture

While we're just starting to roll out auto-capture (currently only supported in 1-camera hitting assessments), if you're capturing a supported movement, [auto-capture](using-auto-capture-mode.md) is a lifesaver; you can start your assessment and not have to manually start and stop recording, allowing you to facilitate your event and interact with the athletes.
