# Video recording specification for Uplift Capture

> The resolution and frames-per-second specifications used per-movement for video captures

Uplift Capture uses two iOS devices to capture time-synchronized videos of your athletes' movements. These videos are then analyzed using our proprietary computer vision and biomechanical models to track joint centers, compute joint angles and velocities, and generate usable reports.

As such, it's important we capture video at the right specification for our models to accurately report how an athlete it moving. Uplift Capture currently records all videos at 720p resolution, which has shown to be more than sufficient resolution to capture all our tracked joint centers when the cameras are set up according to our recommendations.

We also capture video at different frames-per-second, depending on how fast or dynamic a movement is. The higher the velocity we have to track, the higher the FPS our app selects. The following is a list of the FPS at which each of our supported movements are captured.
