Cervical Rotation

Overview

The cervical rotation assessment evaluates the range of motion and quality of movement in the cervical spine during rotation. This assessment measures the ability to achieve sufficient rotation in both directions while maintaining proper alignment.

Events

EventData TypeDescription
Max Left RotationIntFrame of maximum left rotation
Max Right RotationIntFrame of maximum right rotation

Discrete Metrics

MetricData TypeUnitsDescription
MaxLeftRotationFloatdegreesMaximum left rotation angle
MaxRightRotationFloatdegreesMaximum right rotation angle
MaxLeftRotationSufficientBoolean-Whether left rotation is sufficient (≥ 45°)
MaxRightRotationSufficientBoolean-Whether right rotation is sufficient (≥ 45°)

Notes

  • All angular measurements follow ISB conventions
  • Sufficient rotation is defined as ≥ 45° in each direction
  • Measurements are based on HeadAngleWRTTrunkXYZ.Z
