# Lunge Depth

> Vertical displacement of the pelvis during the forward lunge, reflecting range of motion depth.

## Description

Lunge depth is the vertical drop of the pelvis from the standing baseline to the lowest position during the forward lunge.
A greater depth indicates a deeper, more demanding lunge.
The baseline is computed as the average pelvis height in frames outside the lunge window (before and after the lunge) to account for subject height variation.
