# Peak Hip Flexion

> Maximum hip flexion angle at a given phase or event.

## Events / Phases

* **At Takeoff:** Maximum hip flexion during the jumping phase ([Initiation](/biomechanics/activities/jump/events/initiation) to [Takeoff](/biomechanics/activities/jump/events/takeoff)).
  * Column examples: `jumping_left_hip_peak_flexion_angle`, `jumping_right_hip_peak_flexion_angle` (bilateral); `jumping_hip_peak_flexion_angle` (single-leg).
* **At Landing:** Maximum hip flexion during the landing absorption phase ([Landing](/biomechanics/activities/jump/events/landing) to [Landing Bottom](/biomechanics/activities/jump/events/landing-bottom)).

## Description
