# Landing Bottom

> The lowest point of the pelvis after the jump (deepest landing absorption).

## Technical Details

* **Variable Type:** Event
* **Data Type:** Integer
* **Units:** Frame number
* **Column Name:** `bottom_of_landing_frame`
* **Required for QA:** False
* **Measurement:** Lowest pelvis height during the landing eccentric phase

## Description

Landing bottom marks the instant when the pelvis reaches its lowest point during the landing absorption (eccentric) phase. This event separates landing eccentric from landing concentric (stand-up) phase.

## Use Cases

* Landing eccentric vs. concentric phase definition
* Landing stiffness and absorption metrics
* Knee valgus at landing bottom
