# P8 Release

> The moment just after impact, identified as the temporal midpoint between Impact and Follow Through.

## Description

P8 Release marks the moment just after impact as the golfer continues rotating through the shot. It is computed as the temporal midpoint between Impact and Follow Through, and bounds the search window for the peak segment angular velocity events.
